Sylvie Blangy is currently a researcher funded by a 3 year European Union Marie Curie outgoing fellowship.

Sylvie was seconded to Carleton University, the Department of Geography and Environmental Studies in Ottawa, Canada for the past 2 years.

Since September 2008, Sylvie is in her reintegration phase back to Europe, hosted by her return host institution, Paul Valéry University, in Montpellier, France, and the GESTER section of the Geography Department until July 2009.
